Blackjack, from South Wales, appears to have been a DIY concern. It seems to have managed just two records, both of them singles; the dates on the labels suggested that there was a fifteen-year gap between them, but that and the fact that 'Thank God For Kids' wasn't a hit in the USA until 1982 (for the Oak Ridge Boys) made me wonder if the '1974' on the labels of the Blackjacks single shown above might be misleading. Fortunately Sporidium of the 45cat site has found a catalogue entry which gives the much more likely release date of February 1989. That puts Blackjack way beyond the scope of this site, so this page will shortly be deleted.
