A DIY Punk label, from Birmingham. Brum Beat managed just the one (maxi) single, '19th Nervous Breakdown' b/w 'Big Rock Candy Mountain' and ''C'mon Everybody', by Brent Ford & The Nylons (BSB-001; 1978). The band was fronted by promoter John Mostyn, and the single was initially released in August 1978, without a picture sleeve; a 'Christmas card' sleeve was added later on.
