Another DIY label from the late '70s. 'My Body' by General Strike (CANAL-01; 1979) seems to have been the only release by this particular Canal label. Its matrix number, EJSP-9324, indicates that pressing was done by Ellie Jay. General Strike consisted of Steve Beresford and David Toop. There was another, far more prolific, Canal label, which numbered its records in the CNL-7-1000s, but that dates from the '80s.
