CASTLE (CAEP prefix)

The second Castle label of the '70s appears to have been an offshoot of a Bedford-based music publishing firm called Dan-Sar Music - the three Castles that I have seen pictured all had a credit to that firm on their labels.  A search for details about Dan-Sar gave an address of 19 Pentland Rise and also brought up a link with the Beck studios of Wellingborough.  Castle managed at least three releases, all of them in 1977.  Two of them were albums by Rock 'n' Roll artists: 'Rock & Roll Party' by 20 Flight Rock (CA LP-031) and Hotfoot Gale's 'Greased Lightnin'' (CA LP-032); the third was the one which qualified the label for this site - it was an EP called 'Four From Two' by Two Man Band. Tracks on it were 'My Little One', 'Bring Back De Reggae Music', Leaving On A Jet Plane' and 'Gimme Gimme Good Lovin'', and it had a catalogue number of CA EP-001.  If you know of any more Castles I'd be pleased to hear about them.  Thanks to Mystdrf of the 45cat site for the use of his scan here.
