C.I.A.

A DIY label.  C.I.A. issued just one record, a three-track EP including the tracks 'Mercy Killing', 'I'm The One' and 'Pornography', by White S.S. (CIA-72; 12/78).  An article on the EP and an e-mail about the band can be found on the Punk 77 website; in it the music on a couple of the tracks is described as 'Semi-acoustic jazzy, like Caravan', and the band members are said to be 'public school guys from Watford'.  The 'rough inner circle, smooth outer ring' appearance of the labels is typical of an Orlake pressing in the '70s.  Thanks to Graham7 of the 45cat site for permission to use his scans here.
