A Reggae label. Clearview issued four singles in 1979-80. Three were in the 12" format but the first was a double 'A' side 7" offering 'Smile' by Speedy and 'Feel No Way' by Bojey. The catalogue number of that single was CV-1, and it was made through custom recording firm Ellie Jay (q.v.). The CV-0 series was used for all the singles, regardless of their size. The telephone number at 9 o'clock starts '01 521', which suggests that the company was based in Walthamstow. Speedy featured as an artist on sides of all four singles, and the producer on the only three I've seen pictures of was 'Alexander'; it seems reasonable to guess that the pair of them were involved with the label in one way or another.
