COMBINATION

Combination was the resident theatre company of the Albany Empire theatre, Deptford.  At least one record was issued on their label; it was a single by company member Debbie Bishop and Rough Edge, and it featured 'England In Disguise' on one side and 'Mr. Monochrome' on the other - by mistake 'England In Disguise' labels appear on both sides.  The catalogue number was RL-1, which suggests that co-producer Rick Lloyd may have been the driving force behind the record, and the year of issue was 1978.  Both songs were taken from the theatre company's production 'One Gun Salute', which debuted in June 1978 when the theatre reopened after a fire.  Thanks to Barry Adcock for bringing the label to my attention and for providing the scan; thanks also to Paul Middleton, the lighting designer for 'One Gun Salute', for details about the production and the label mistake.
