CRAB
A Reggae
label. Crab was a subsidiary of Pama. It ran from 1968-71 and
released nearly seventy singles, one of which, Derrick Morgan's 'Moon Hop'
b/w 'Harris Wheel' (CRAB-32; 10/69), gave the label a brief taste of
mainstream Chart success when it nipped into the Top 50 for one week in
1970. One basic design served throughout, but, as can be seen from
the scans, the colour came in various shades between yellow and orange and the
fonts varied. Thanks to John Timmis for the second and third scans.
The discography below only covers the 1970s; a full one can be found on the 45Cat site.
