CRYSTAL CLEAR (2)
There was at least one single issued on this, second, Crystal Clear
label: 'Buona Sera' by a group called Crystal Clear. It came out in
1975, and it had a catalogue number of CC-1. Presumably the label was
owned by the group and was named after them. They sound like a
Cabaret band, though the vocal harmonies are good and the 'A' side swings nicely
- the 'B' is more obvious Cabaret fodder, a straightforward version of the Bread
song 'I'd Like To Make It With You'. Googling reveals no traces of a
CC-2, but the band - in the company of Dave Armour - had a single out on the
Sunshine Music label (q.v.) a year later: 'When You Smile' b/w 'And I Love Her
So' (SM-1; 1976).
