Curzon Sounds seems to have managed just three releases, all of them in 1978. First out of the blocks were an album and a single by singing duo Don Estelle & Windsor Davies. The pair had had a No.1 three years earlier, with 'Whispering Grass' (EMI-2290; 1975); 'Java Jive' (CSS-0072; 1978) failed to repeat that success. The album, 'Bless You For Being An Angel' was numbered CSL-0071. There was also a Various Artists LP featuring Don Estelle among others, 'Stars On Sunday By Request' (CSL-0081; 1978). Curzon Sounds was based at 17a Curzon Street, Mayfair, London. According to 'Music Master' the company's records were distributed by Selecta. Estelle had his own label, 'Lofty', in the early '80s.
