EASY-LEARN
Easy-Learn was a limited company based in Maidenhead,
Berkshire. It issued at least one set of records: a boxed set of six LPs
featuring a series of twelve piano tutorial lessons, one per side.
Included in the box was an introductory 7" EP, which was enough to
qualify the label for this site. There's no date on the records but
Easy-Learn Limited was registered as a company in February 1971, which rules the
'60s out, and it sems logical to assume that the company would have put the
records out not too long afterwards. The style of the EP's matrix number
suggests a British Homophone pressing, which again suggests the
(earlyish) '70s rather than the '80s. The albums were numbered EL-1 /
2, EL 3 / 4, and so on; the EP gained an 'F' and ended up as EL F 14 / 15.
The number 13 seems to have been missed out. The records can be found with
yellow or white labels.
