FLUX
One of those cases where information about a label is
sadly lacking. All I can say about Flux is that it was responsible
for the appearance of at least one single, 'Hey Diddle Diddle' b/w 'Lord' by The
Klan, which came out in 1974 and had a catalogue number of FL-301. A version of 'Lord' had previously been issued on Young Blood (YB-1031; 11/71) by Zed Jenkins, the writer of both tracks. Jenkins went on to record for RCA as Nigel Jenkins ('Sugar Jo-Jo', PB-5036; 1977), and for Double Decords as part of a group called Zed. The single has been described as 'Northern Soul', but to my ears it sounds more like Bubblegummy Pop.
