Gales appears to have been a one-off DIY label. 'Don't Stop The Carnival' b/w 'Drano' by Dave & The Nightingales came out on Gales in 1977 with a catalogue number of 001 - no prefix. It has been variously described as Reggae and Soca; never having heard it, I am not in a position to judge. Thanks to Robert Bowes for the scan.
