A Reggae label; part of the Trojan group. Green Door issued more than sixty singles, in a GD-4000 numerical series, during its lifetime, which lasted from 1971 to the first month of 1974. Several of the longer-lasting Trojan subsidiaries went through a period where a label with a plain design was used instead of the usual colourful one, presumably as a cost-saving measure, but Green Door seems to have been spared that indignity.
