HASTIES FARM

A Scottish DIY label, apparently a one-off.  Hasties Farm was a nightclub in Blantyre, run by Bob and Kathy Brown.  It was taken over by Sam Plotnikoff and Graham Gordon in 1979, and in that year an EP by John Doc was released on the club's own label - Doc and his Trio were the resident band at the time.  The EP was called 'John Doc At Hasties Farm', logically enough.  The tracks on it were 'Everybody Knows', 'My Way', 'Nobody Wins', and 'Sweet Caroline', suggesting that it was a standard Club / Cabaret record.  The catalogue number was HF-101.  Thanks to Klepsie of the 45cat site for bringing the label to my attention.
