Apparently a small independent label, from Scotland. Neon issued at least one single, 'Another Lonely Saturday' b/w 'Yes I Do' by the Diplomats (XS-10001; 6/78). Stephen Small has been kind enough to supply not only a scan but also mp3s of the tracks, which prove positively that despite appearing in the DIY Punk / New Wave era the single isn't that kind of record: it is pleasant MOR Pop, with female vocals on the 'A' side and a slightly tougher 'B'. Distribution was by Lismor, a Glasgow-based company, which suggests that Neon was from the same area.
