NOISY RECORD COMPANY

The Noisy Record Company appears to have run to just the one issue: an EP of the music from the stage production of David Firman's 'The Glass Menagerie' at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.  It had a catalogue number of NS-001; its matrix number, SM-210, would indicate a release date of 1979, which agrees with a handwritten date - 'November 1979' - on the sleeve of my copy.  The first side offered 'Song Fragment', 'Pavane', 'Carousel' and 'Gigue'; the second 'Tango', 'Ragtime', 'Ground' and 'Waltz'.  The record was made through custom recording firm Sound News Studios (q.v.), of Chiswick.  Thanks to Steve Hill for bringing the label to my attention.
