N.W.J.

A DIY label from the New Wave era.  A single called 'Running From Mummy' b/w 'Where Would We Be Without Shoes' by British Shoes seems to have been N.W.J's only release.  It came out in 1979 and was made through custom recording firm SRT (q.v.), as indicated by its matrix number, SRTS/79/CUS-542.  Presumably the 'NJW-001' in smaller print below the SRT one was the catalogue number.  There doesn't appear to have been an NWJ-002.  Thanks to Barry Adcock for supplying the scan.
