PARADISE (2)
American. Paradise was owned by Leon Russell; it was started by him after
he left his and Denny Cordell's Shelter label. It ran from 1976 into the mid '80s; there were dozens of releases in the
States, but apparently only a handful in the U.K.. The single pictured above, Leon Russell's 'Elvis
and Marilyn' b/ w 'Anita Bryant' (K-17244; 1978),
was Paradise's only British 7". Manufacture and distribution were
through WEA here.
