SNATZO
Snatzo appears to have been dedicated to records by
Scottish New Wave band the Revillos. It issued just one single in the
1970s, that band's 'Where's The Boy For Me' (DIN-1; 9/79), but three more
followed in 1980. Catalogue numbers were shared with those of parent
company Dindisc (q.v.). The Revillos were put together by a couple of
ex-members of popular New Wave band the Rezillos, which had had a couple of Top
50 hits in 1978. The second record on Snatzo, 'Motorbike Beat'
(DIN-5; 1/80) also made the Top 50. Thanks to Sam Mauger for bringing
the label to my attention, and to Paul Winsall for supplying the scan.
