SO SO



The label of Solar Sound studios, of Llanrhystud, Dyfed.  I was under the impression that the single pictured above, 'European Nights' b/w 'Run, Run, Run' by Horse Latitudes (SOSO-015) was from 1979, but the Dysgiddiaeth Gymraeg site lists SOSOs 005 and 013 as being from 1982 and logically SOSO-015 must have been issued later than that. As a result there's no reason to think that So So put any records out in the '70s, and this page will shortly be deleted.  So So appears to have been a custom recording label, or perhaps a small independent.  The SS-000 numbering system which it used applied to 7" records, LPs and cassettes alike.
