TREACLEHEAD PRODUCTIONS
Another one-off DIY
label. Treaclehead Productions issued just the one record, a single
by Mandrake Roote, 'Bebop Junkie', which came out in 1979 with a catalogue
number of TPSP-1. According to Graeme Fife's homepage
the label was named after a college incident in which the Roote's drummer poured
syrup over his House Captain's head and got expelled - Graeme Fife was the
singer with the band. Thanks to Robert Bowes for the scan and for
bringing the label to my attention.
