YAD BEZEMER PRODUCTIONS

A label associated with the London School Of Jewish Song For Boys.  Yad Bezemer appears to have been one of the men principally involved with the choir, the other being founder Yigal Calek.  Bezemer's name features prominently at the top of the label, while Calek's initials provide the catalogue numbers' prefix.  Numbers reached at least YC-006 and were shared by 12" and 7" records alike.  The only 7" that I have so far tracked down is the one shown above, a Various Artists EP containing Yigal Calek's 'Children Of Silence', Pesach Segal's 'Ezkeroh', and a couple of tracks by the Yad Bezemer Harmony Section, 'Rakhaim' and 'Ufduyai'.  It was issued in 1971 and was numbered YC-002.  The school's choir continued to make records into the CD era and is still going today, but the latest record that I have tracked down on this particular label was from 1976.  Pressing of the couple of examples that I have seen was by Orlake.
