AIR MAIL
One of those cases where I can do little more than note the
existence of a label and provide a scan. Air Mail appears to have issued
just the one record, a single by Steve Coleby. The tracks on it were 'All
Over You' and 'I'm The One (Who Really Cares)', and it came out in 1979 with a
matrix number of BY-001. Tippex has been used to cover the name of the
accompanying band, on both sides; according to Discogs the name was
'Supertramp'. It seems unlikely that anyone connected with the famous band
of that name would have found out about this release and threatened legal
action, but you never know. According to the picture sleeve both sides
were recorded at Gooseberry Studios, London. The label of 'I'm The One'
says that it came from a film called 'The Life & Times Of A Busker', but there's
no sign of that film online. Pressing was by Orlake.
