COSMOS
Cosmos seems to have been one of those little
Reggae labels that came and went during the 1970s without making any sort of an
impression. It managed at least three singles, all in
1975. The first of them, 'I Man Suffering' by the Gaylords, had a
rather plain-looking yellow label with red printing and a catalogue number of
CSP-1001; a change of label colour (to light blue with black printing) and
numbering (to C-0) followed, along with several fairly minor alterations to the
label design (1). The other two singles were both by The Blue
Wonders. The Wonders went on to record for the Merry Makers label
(q.v.) later in the decade; Mark Griffiths indicates that the two labels may
have been related.
