CRC (?) (1970)
One of those cases where
there's no identification on a label and I've had to use a prefix as an
identifier. In March 1970 Keith Goodwin made an EP
containing versions of 'More', 'The Good Life', 'The Way You look
Tonight' and 'This Guy's In Love With You'. As can be seen from the
scan, which appears here by kind permission of Hawkmarty of the 45cat site, its
labels were blank with the details handwritten on them. The matrix
number CRC EP 104 could be found in the run-offs, which raises the
questions firstly of what 'CRC' stood for - 'Record Company' seems like a
good bet for the latter part - and secondly of what CRCs 101 to 103
were, if they existed. There may, of course, have been numbers from
CRC-105 upwards as well. If anyone knows of them or can
supply answers to the questions I'd be interested to hear from them.
