DISQUES CLOUSEAU
An one-off
label; a product of Virgin Records. The only record on Disques
Clouseau was the single shown above, a rather Disco-fied version of Ian
Dury & The Blockheads's 'Sex And Drugs And
Rock And Roll', attributed to Patrick Duvet & His Sweet Perversions (MERDE-1; 5/79). It was available
as a 12" as well as a 7". The 'B'
side was another Blockheads' song, 'Wake Up And Make Love
To Me'. Manufacture and distribution were by CBS. Thanks
to Robert Bowes for bringing the label to my attention.
