ECHO (BRP prefix)
A small independent label, based in London. This Echo
seems to have been responsible for just one record, an EP by The New Melvin
Country, which in addition to the tracks shown on the scan above offered
versions of 'May The Bird Of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose' and 'My Wild Irish
Rose'. There's no date on the EP, but the 45Cat site has it as 1979, which
looks reasonable. Its catalogue number was BRP-101, the prefix reflecting
the surnames of producers T. Bell and J. Ryan. Thanks to Nicholas Hough
for providing the scan.
