FAITH

A Reggae label; a
subsidiary of Magnet - the Reggae company, owned by Rupert
A. Coke, rather than Michael Levy's Pop one.
Faith issued 25 singles in the period 1974-76. Catalogue numbers were
generally in a FA-000 series, though the prefix of the first single was FT
rather than FA, and one of the noughts was
occasionally dropped from then numbers for some reason.
The label design remained the same, but the shade
of blue varied and a few singles had the year on them. Judging by
pictures, pressing appears to have been generally done by
Orlake, but I haven't had many actual records in my hands to make
sure. Thanks to John Timmis for the second scan and to Newton Coke for the
ownership information.
