INDO SOUND
Indo Sound appears to have been a one-off DIY label. It
was the vehicle for an EP by 'Amerindo', which consisted
of two ex-members of Los Paraguayos: Adrián Barreto and Fausto Franco. There is
no date on the labels but the sleeve notes refer to Barreto as having left
Los Paraguayos in 1974 and say that he had been performing with harpist Franco for
over twelve months at the time of the record's release, so that makes 1975 sound
like a good bet. The EP was entitled 'Night at the Fontana
Di Trevi, Cardiff'. In addition to the tracks shown on the scan it featured
'Let Me Cry' and 'Together'. As can be seen, its catalogue number was
CBA-001; googling fails to reveal the existence of any other CBAs, though
both Barreto and Franco made subsequent recordings. Pressing was by Linguaphone.
Thanks to Klepsie of the 45Cat site for bringing Indo Sound
to my attention.
