A short-lived but now collectable independent label from Portadown, Northern Ireland, It was associated with a record retailing chain; Cliff Moore was the man behind both the shops and the record company. It Records issued four New Wave singles and one EP in 1977-78, plus another three singles on its Country and Western subsidiary, Band-It. According to 'Music Master' Lightning started to handle distribution of the first four records in mainland Britain in April 1978. Thanks to T. P. McLoughlin for the scans.
