J.G.S. MUSIC

A DIY label from Scotland.  J.G.S. Music - the initials stood for 'Jedburgh Grammar School' - appears to have put out just one record, which featured the school's Symphony Orchestra playing 'Happy Music' and Ian Abernethy's 'Clog Dance' on the 'A' side; its Fiddle Band supplied some 'Traditional Tunes' on the 'B'.  The run-off markings give the catalogue / matrix number as JGS-001 and indicate that the record was made through Pan Audio.  As can be seen from the scan, the year of release was 1978.  Thanks to Stephen Small for providing that scan and for letting me know about the EP's existence in the first place.
