One of those cases where there wasn't a label name as such and I've had to use the artist's name as an identifier. At some point, probably in the second half of the '70s, singer Johny Bright put out an EP, 'Live', featuring versions of Club / Cabaret staples 'Solitaire', 'Send In The Clowns' and 'My Way', plus what seems to have been an original song co-written by the EP's producer John Worsley and someone with the surname 'Myers', 'If You Hadn't Been Around' - was 'Myers' perhaps Johny Bright's real name? The catalogue number of the EP was MI-001; there doesn't seem to have been an MI-002. What the 'MI' stood for is a mystery; it may possibly be the initials of the management company which handled Johny Bright. There's no date on the labels, but pressing was by Orlake; Orlake pressings appear to have lost that 'smooth outer ring, rough inner ring' look in the spring of 1979, which gives us a 'not after' date, and 'Solitaire' and 'Send In The Clowns' were big hits in 1975, which gives us a probable 'not before'.
