Another obscure one. Octane appears to have been the record label of Martingale Music, of Leytonstone. It issued at least one single, Yancey's, 'Standing Waiting' (HS-302; 9/79), which is in Power Pop territory. The single shared a HS-300 numerical series with those of Hammer Records (q.v.), which was a member of the Pye family. Googling reveals no other Octanes. Manufacture and distribution were by Pye.
