Another DIY label from the Punk / New Wave years. Political seems to have issued just the one record, an EP by The Politicians offering 'Go Away' 'Fly With Me', 'Street Signs' and a cover of Booker T's 'Time Is Tight'. The EP appears to have come out in late 1979; John Peel played it on his show on the 12th of December, and said that it was available from an address in Deepdene Avenue, Dorking, Surrey. It was not listed in the adverts of any of the independent distributors at the time, so it may have been sold only by mail order and at gigs. Both sides were marked 'A', and they had different catalogue numbers, PEP-1 and PEP-2. Thanks to James of the Worthless Trash site for most of the information on this page.
