A short-lived label from the REL (Radio Edinburgh Ltd.) stable. The REL Studios logo seems to have featured on just a trio of records. The first two were LPs by June Imray, 'The Torry Quine' (REL-452; 1976) and 'The Torry Quine Again' (RE-50; 1977), but Mona Stewart's World Cup anthem 'We'll Bring The Cup Home' b/w 'The Banner Of Scotland' is the one that interests us, being a 7". It came out in 1978, and its catalogue number, RE-52-S, was taken from a series that appears to have been used by REL for custom recordings. Pressing of that single was by RCA.
