RISK (2)
The second Risk label of
the 1979s appeared in the last few weeks of the decade. 'Music Week' of
the 24th of November 1979 reported that Risk Records had been set up by John McLaren as
an outlet for new talent, and that its first release was to be
'Roller Disco' b/w 'Fly The Breeze' by Debbie Raymond. Sadly, that first release also seems to
have been the last. Pressing was by Orlake, distribution was by Pinnacle, and the single came
in a picture sleeve. There were at least a couple more singles issued on
Risk labels in 1983, but they don't appear to have
had any connection with this one.
