ROUND
(1)
Three Round labels came
and went in 1979; two of them, including this one, were ephemeral independent
labels. This particular Round seems to have survived for long enough
to issue just one single, Moral Support's, 'Just Where It's At Tonight' b/w
'Sin' (RSR-001). Apparently Moral Support were a Christian New
Wave band from Northern Ireland, but nothing about the record or the sleeve suggests that they were made in
that country. Christianity and Punk Rock make for
an unlikely combination. It wasn't unusual to hear Punk bands singing about hate,
but I'd guess that not many of them could be
heard singing about hating sin - which
is the case on the 'A' side here.
