A short-lived and obscure label, featuring African music, Sabanoh International issued at least one single, Masokoloko's, 'Fire Baby' b/w 'Sabanoh International' (PFU-1007; 1978). The PFU prefix was shared by several labels in the Plastic Fantastic group. Was Sabanoh International an attempt to take Akie Deen's 'Sabanoh Sounds' label (q.v.) to a wider audience, via Plastic Fantastic's distribution deal with major record company Pye?
