An independent label from Bristol, owned by Gene Walsh. Shoc Wave issued records in a variety of genres from 1979 into the 1990s, albeit fairly sporadically. Catalogue numbers for 7" records were in the SRP-0000s, and they reached at least SRP-0020. The first two releases were from 1979, and thus qualify the label for this site. They were the one shown above, 'Independence Fever' by Dominica (SRP-0001), which had a West Indian rhythm, and 'Pretty Girl' by Joshua Moses (SRP-0002), which was a Reggae song.
