SIDEWALK (1976-77)
According to Paul Pelletier's Directory of British Singles 1950-80 (Vol.
2), this particular Sidewalk was a short-lived label owned by Peter
Eden. It released one single, the Street Chorus's, 'Mama Mama' b/w
'Working Boy's Dream' (SID-0702), in 1976, and an LP by the Animal Kwackers,
'Animal Kwackers 20 TV Favourites' (RRS-501) in 1977. Pressing was by
Lyntone. 'Mama Mama' was somewhat unusual-sounding: it was a Ragtime
sort of thing, for acoustic guitar and four-man vocal harmonies.
