SMILE (1)

This particular Smile label came from Wakefield, and was run in co-operation between the Record Bar shop and musician Bill Nelson.  It issued only two records, both of which were by Nelson / Be-Bop Deluxe: an LP entitled, 'Northern Dream' (1971), and a single, 'Teenage Archangel' (LAFS-001; 1973).  When Nelson moved on to EMI's Harvest label, in 1974, Smile was shelved, as far as new material was concerned; though the album underwent numerous re-pressings.
