SOFA

There must have been literally hundreds of Punk and New Wave bands which started-up labels as an outlet for their music.  Sofa belonged to The Shapes, from Leamington.   It ran to at least two Shapes records: the 'Wots For Lunch Mum' EP (SEAT-1) in 1979, and 'Blast Off' (SEAT-2) in 1980.  The second of these was picked up for reissue by Northern Ireland label Good Vibrations.  Another EP, 'Cocktails At Six', by Flackoff (SEAT-003), followed in 1982.  Thanks to Robert Bowes for the scan.
