SOURCE
American. Source was a subsidiary of MCA, and was devoted to
Soul and Disco records. It was more prolific in the States than it
was in Britain: over here it seems to have initially managed only five singles,
which came out in 1979-80. Numbering was in the SRC-100s, starting at
SRC-100. Lee Moore's, 'Reachin' Out For Your Love (SRC-100; 10/79)
was popular on the dance floor but failed to crack the Charts.
Manufacture and distribution were by EMI. A couple more singles
appeared in 1985-85, with black labels and numbers in a SOURCE-0 series.
