SRW

SRW appears to have been a small independent concern run by organ
enthusiasts. It issued at least two records, both of which were made
through custom recording concern Deroy Records, of Carnforth, Lancashire.
A single featuring music played by Bob Miller's 110 Key Gavioli Fair Organ,
'Weep No More My Ladies' b/w 'Lights Out March', was the earliest of the
two. It had a catalogue number of 001 and a matrix number of DEROY-975,
which suggests a year of release of 1973-74. An EP by Roy Bingham at the
'M' Ranch Wurlitzer Theatre Organ (002 / DEROY-983) followed shortly after, and
contained the tracks ' Julian', 'Manhattan', 'By The Fireside' and 'All In The
April Evening'. As can be seen from the scan, the layout of the label
bears a strong resemblance to that used by RCA for their LPs. Thanks to
Sam Mauger for bringing the label to my attention.
