STICKY (GLU prefix)

A mystery.  All I can say about the third Sticky label of the '70s is that it put out a single by Leeman / Elliott, 'Love Me Well' b/w 'Hideaway', in 1979.  The catalogue number of the single was GLU-1001; there doesn't appear to have been a GLU-1002.  The initials 'EG' on the run-off indicate that mastering was done by Eddy Gorecki at Gedmal Galvanic of Leicester, and the combination of a deep bevel and a small raised 'platform' around the spindle hole suggest that pressing was done by Linguaphone.  The musical contents are in an American Country Rock vein and are rather reminiscent of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
