A DIY label from the Punk years. St. Pancras's claim to fame is that it introduced Scritti Politti to the world, via the single 'Skank Bloc Bologna' (SCRIT-1; 11/78). The label of that record was white, and the credits were hand-stamped on to it (1, 2). An EP called 'Work In Progress' (SCRIT-2 / RT-34; 11/79) followed, in co-operation with Rough Trade (3, 4). The band's subsequent records were on Rough Trade and later Virgin.
