SUNLIGHT

An obscure label from 1973-74, Sunlight issued at least seven singles in an SLX-100 numerical series, three of which were by singer / songwriter Gavin MacDonald.  Its first two releases were by Emile Ford, presumably the same chap who had a number of hits in the late '50s and early '60s for Pye, including the classic, 'What Do You Want To Make Those Eyes At Me For'.  However, neither 'What Is Wrong With Me Loving You' (SLX-101; 1/73) or 'Sorry Living' (SLX-102; 3/73) repeated those successes.   Sunlight came under the President Records umbrella; distribution was by Enterprise.  The few singles I have seen in the vinyl have been CBS pressings.
