SUNPOWER

A Reggae label.  Sunpower appears to have released just a couple of singles, both of them in 1978.  The numerical series used, GUN-100, was shared with Ballistic (q.v.).  The Willows' single 'Baby Let Me Feel It' (GUN-104) was produced by hitmaker Jimmy Cliff; Mark Griffiths writes that Cliff owned the label in partnership with Mo Claridge, and that it associated with Ballistic Records (q.v.).  Sunpower's other release was 'Album Of My Life' by Nora Dean (GUN-103).  Pressing and distribution were by Pye, with Mojo handling the marketing.
