SUPREME (SUP-600
numbers)
The second Supreme label also
specialised in Reggae, just as the first had done. It seems to have
been linked to Empire Records, and Mark Griffiths writes that it was
owned by Winston Curtis. It issued singles from 1976-c.79, using a
SUP-600 numerical series; googling suggests that there were just six
of them, which doesn't indicate a particularly busy
schedule. Distribution was by Lugton for one of them. There
were also at least a couple of albums.
